alsaplayer-alsa software package provides alsaplayer output module for ALSA, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alsaplayer-alsa
alsaplayer-alsa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alsaplayer-alsa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alsaplayer-alsa *
You will get with alsaplayer-alsa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
